Turboshaft engine PBS TS100

Turboshaft engine PBS TS100

The turboshaft engine PBS TS100 is suitable for light helicopters weighing up to 1,000 kg. The engine offers a power take-off of up to 180 kW.
  • Small installation dimensions
  • Digital interface for control and monitoring
  • Ability to run at cold temperatures below -30 °C without preheating
  • Stable operation at high altitudes and at high temperatures

The maximum continuous power mode of 160 kW is available up to 2,000 m, even at high temperatures. The turboshaft engine can be started even at cold temperatures below -30 °C without preheating.

The engine is equipped with an autonomous oil and fuel system, BLDC electric starter-generator and a digital engine control unit (ECU). The ECU controls the acceleration and deceleration of the gas generator to maintain a constant ouptut shaft speed. The ECU also provides subsequent automatic cooling of hot components after the engine stops.

The engine can be controlled by an analogue interface (control voltage) or digital interface (based on CAN Aerospace V1.7 protocol). The engine parameters for a multi-function cockpit display are only available in digital format. Two engine versions are available: PBS TS100ZA with 2,158 RPM or PBS TS100DA with 5,978 RPM (output shaft speed).

Standard accessories - included: digital control system (ECU), ignition, connecting cable
Required accessories: electromagnetic fuel valve, boost pump, oil cooler
Optional accessories: alternator,  control box, EMS display, thermostatic valve and others

Service, spare parts and overhauls of aerospace technology

We provide service of the highest quality for all users of our aerospace technology products.

We have long been working to extend the service life of our products, e.g. by introducing new technologies to produce the most exposed parts. Our turbine-based aicraft equipment regularly receives very good references.
